The work will take place between the intersections with State Highway 1 and Matangi Road, between 6pm Sunday night and 6am Monday morning.

Rubberised bitumen will be poured into cracks in the road surface to make it more waterproof and durable.

Stop/Go traffic management with a 30km/h speed limit will be in place.
